What To Expect At Your First GreenLife Yoga Class

To ensure that you have a great experience at your first class, here are a few simple guidelines when you attend your first class:

Before Arriving

  • Eating: It's hard to do yoga on a full stomach. If possible, allow two hours between your meal and the start of class. If you must eat closer to class time, eat a light, nutritious, easily-digested snack.
  • Dress: Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes. To maintain cleanliness, shoes are not allowed in the studio. Leave them on the shoe rack upon entering class.

Upon Arriving

  • Arrive about 10-15 minutes before the class is scheduled to begin to fill out the new student registration form. If you must come a few minutes late, please enter the studio very quietly and walk lightly.
  • Please tell the instructor if you have any injuries, health problems or concerns.
  • Feel free to ask any questions you may have about yoga.
  • You can bring your own yoga mat (recommended for cleanliness) or we will provide one, for a $1 rental fee.
  • Once inside the studio, line your sticky mat to face the front of the room. Remove your socks (to avoid slipping while practicing) and sit down quietly in a comfortable position.

New Student Registration Policy

  • Before practicing at GreenLife Yoga, all new students are required to fill out our registration form and medical waiver.

Class Registration Policy

  • All membership and class cards have an expiration date and are non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • Introductory three (3) class cards expire one (1) month from date of purchase and are available only the first visit and one time only.
  • Three (3) class cards expire one (1) month from date of purchase.
  • Seven (7) and ten (10) class cards expire two (2) months from the date of purchase.
  • One (1) month unlimited memberships expire the same date on the following month from date of purchase.
  • Semi-annual and annual memberships may be frozen one time only for up to three months.
  • Please consider what pricing options best suit your needs before purchase, because GreenLife Yoga doesn't provide refunds or transfers on any classes, class cards or passes purchased.
  • Seniors receive a 20% discount on all classes. Students receive 10% discount on all classes with ID.

Workshop Registration Policy

  • Pre-payment in full is required at time of registration.
  • Students will receive a 20% discount for registration at least two weeks prior to date of workshop, and a 10% discount for registration within two weeks of date of workshop, unless otherwise noted.
  • Students may request and receive refunds for cancellations up to two weeks prior to date of workshop, minus a minimal processing fee, which varies by workshop.
  • GreenLife credit only (to be used towards future classes and workshops) is given for cancellations at least seven (7) days prior to the workshop.
  • No refunds or credit will be given for cancellations less than seven (7) days of workshop.
  • If GreenLife cancels a workshop, a full credit or refund will be issued.
  • Barring unforeseen emergency, GreenLife will typically give registered students 72 hours notice of a cancelled workshop.
  • GreenLife reserves the right to cancel workshops for any reason, including and primarily for low pre-registration. Students are therefore highly encouraged to register as much in advance as possible, so that GreenLife can make accurate estimates about class attendance.
  • GreenLife Yoga reserves the right to amend this policy at its sole discretion.

Private Session Policy

  • There are no refunds for private sessions, unless session is cancelled by instructor.

Teacher Training Policy

  • There are no refunds for teacher training, unless teacher training is cancelled by GreenLife Yoga.
  • Payment plans are available, on a case by case basis, at the discretion of GreenLife Yoga management. Students' signature of a payment plan contract is required before class begins.
  • All payments must be paid when due.
  • Late fees will be applied for late payments. No exceptions.

Store Policy

  • Store purchases are non-returnable and non-exchangeable, unless product is defective.
